The future is woven through stories.
ABEFACO has many such stories to tell. It has 10 years of dedicated work strengthening Family and Community Nursing, Primary Health Care, and the Unified Health System (SUS).
Throughout the country, Family and Community Nursing is present wherever care is needed.
Today, we present a new chapter in this story.
A new visual identity that builds on what we've built so far, connects with the present, and points to the future we desire: more integrated, more sustainable.
The new brand seeks to value life in all its forms.
Because caring is movement.
And we continue together, strengthening Family and Community Nursing.
ABEFACO's new visual identity:

Health and the environment are connected, and preserving biodiversity is essential to mitigate the effects of the climate crisis, aiming for a sustainable future for global and unique health.
Family and Community Nursing (FCN) in Brazil cares for all people, everywhere in the country. Recognizing the importance of this specialty for the sustainability of life, ABEFACO (Brazilian Association of Family and Community Nursing) presents its new brand, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and based on Primary Health Care's mandate to be the preferred access point and coordinate comprehensive, universal, equitable, and continuous care.
ABEFACO's new visual identity was created using the original colors of the association's founding and the national flag, respecting the institution's history and reclaiming the ancestral heritage of our land, while valuing what is national. Blue represents trust, professionalism, and health, and yellow evokes hope, energy, and human warmth—essential values in community care.
Composed of a tree with yellow leaves and a trunk outlined by human figures, the ABEFACO logo seeks to convey the EFC's collective work and appreciation for life in all its forms.
The treetop, with yellow leaves, represents life, growth, and people's connection with nature. The 27 leaves represent our 26 states and the Federal District, all supported by the strong foundation of Primary Health Care.
The trunk, formed by stylized human figures in blue, represents the EFC in collective, community, and interprofessional work, as a solid support structure for the Unified Health System, with asymmetrical shapes that respect human diversity.
